Ideally.

Your mind is kinda forced to structure it.
im not really a fan of the shaggs but i do dig Daniel johnston and his music sounds very unpolished.

He sounds like a noob yet i can hear his talent. same with the shaggs but that's not a quality most musicians know how to pull off.

Hellcell, you actually got me curious as to what would happen if I tried to play a song. I have no experience in that regard, except for messing around with a guitar and singing every now and then, and I also have very little experience recording. Anyway, this is what happens when someone with no experience tries to record a song with three tracks (vocals, guitar, drumming) each basically made in one take. Only a few seconds in, and the guitars and drums are hilariously off. Also, I used my headphones as a microphone, and it created a lot of feedback, so you can barely hear anything anyway.

Without further ado, here's my cover of "Hurtin' Kind" by The Tulu Babies (and The Bittersweets). This is why "Noob Rock" is a horrible, horrible idea:

That wasn't that bad actually..

At least the singing part was pretty good.

On second thought, I should probably delete that. If I don't, I just know that someone is eventually going to play it in Plug to embarrass me.

Somebody went through with my idea!

This is the biggest win I've felt on this forum

But do you see why it's a bad idea? Music is much more interesting when it's made by people who actually know what they're doing (or at least care about what they're doing). My version isn't even worth comparing to the original:
