Ok now thats a little harsh. Placebo are an awful band.. We've had our fair share of good bands, and they outweigh the crapness of Placebo if y'ask me.

To both of you ill say, its not that they are brittish (or not), and its not that they are crap (or not) its that they receive high billing in large concert festivals like redding, and if they came here, they'd be lucky to open. My jab comes out of this point, lets not be jingoisitc and stupid when each of our countries has put out its fair share of garbage.

Too right. I dont pay enough attention as to which bands come from which countries, hence why I didnt wanna post in this thread till you said that. I just had to defend ma country from the Placebo comment is all.

and again stew, i was trying to say, which you fail to understand time and time again, that swedish bands have had pretty descent international exposure, especialy when you consider the fact english is not their native language....and i can appreciate that coming from a small country...i think they are an extremly talented ( musicaly ) nation...

but yeah, i suppose sweden as an ounce of musical heritage..unlike one country i can think of in eastern europe...the name evades me- cant be that important. though their football strip resembles the clothing of a clown.
