Was the intent of this thread to make impersonal and predictable lists, or personal and therefore more interesting lists?
Pretty sure the former (or at least it should've been), there are already plenty of threads on MusicBanter designed for people to make lists of what they like for personal reasons. Hell there's an entire board called "Member Journals" that is EXCLUSIVELY about writing what you like personally and why.

Dude. Nobody. Cares. And it was meant to be a mixture of the two since we're all obviously coming at this with our personal tastes.

i certainly didn't. If I had the list would be 50 albums long like yours and you'd think most of them were bad picks kind of like how I felt about yours

You don't seem to take it well when someone receives one of your threads as anything but ultra-enlightening life-changing experiences

Nah it just kinda sucks when they're a massive dick about a light hearted thread I made on the fly. Music is subjective dude, you can't make an objective list of what you think somebody should listen to. I don't really care if you think my list is bad, you're allowed to have an opinion. I'd rather just put this semantic nonsense behind us since it all just goes back to poor wording on my part.

You're really trying to say this to ME, the person who initially said your thread is bad because you said a true diehard music fan has to go listen to the most obscure of the obscure just because you say so?!?!

This thread should have had nothing to do with subjectivity, YOU made it like that. I simply tried to pick albums with sweeping, universal influences that spread throughout the entire music world, and by that criteria there are only very few legitimate options.

On another note, Moss made a great point by bringing up that artists like Chuck Berry and Elvis should be represented and I agree, so I would add those to my list if I made a revision.

You seem to be entirely misinterpreting everything that I say to look for a fight. You just got upset that we agreed on a point ffs. Like I said earlier, it goes back to poor wording on my part, but it would also help if you didn't put words in my mouth. This has got to be the stupidest ****storm you've cooked up and I'm tired of it dude. Just let a ****e thread die if you think it's so bad.
