They were just self absorbed hippies with bad coke habits. it was basically a band filled with misogynist *******s, whats not to like.

TBH I didn't see the Big Lebowski from beginning to end. I was more of a Kingpin fan.

I do appreciate some Eagles songs however. I love the simple harmony of Best of my Love, its really catchy.

Timeless classics get that sort of treatment from me.

Yeah, that's a nice tune.

And I am excluding conspiracy theorists who go on about Hotel California, since I can't recall them saying the song wasn't any good. They were not critiquing the song musically, and evaluating the song as good or bad. They were just using the lyrics as a basis for their conspiracy theories.

But can't recall a bad word about Eagles.
Well, that's different- not being able to recall one is different than never having heard one. Whew, I thought you were FOS there for a second....I mean, who HASN'T heard about the in-fighting among band members, the dispute with Felder, the dispute with Schmidt, the fights between Henley & Frey that ended up in a 14 year break-up then when the cash ran low, a loving reunion, tour, and album (hey, remember someone asked Henley if the band would ever get back together and he said "when hell freezes over"), or how the band ripped off fans by selling meet & greet packages at concerts for $1000 & up, then only Walsh would appear at it? Or how Henley and Frey were utterly dismissive of fans asking for autographs, sometimes downright nasty. Never heard any of that? Now you have, lol...

Well I guess you haven't read what I wrote, or much of the other conversation that followed. If you did then you would know that I brought up band politics in my first post, and that Trollheart rake me over the coals for it. And you know what? I hope he lays it into you like he did me for bringing such stuff up not merely a day after the man died. I hate to be in your shoes mister. you-> <- Trollheart

What I meant about "a bad word" was people talking bad about the band as in their musicianship, song writing abilities or bad performances in concert.
