Whining again?

I thought of the track below as some sort of world music/folk, but I'm unable to really pin down the genre. Allmusic calls the whole album simply "international", which is hardly helpful. Wikipedia tells me the artist does world music (which is a notoriously wide genre term) and also namedrops the term "sephardic music", so... **** it. I don't know what it is, but it's good!

Mor Karbasi- un beso de vida

And of course, how can I resist posting at least a couple tracks from my favorite band, now that TH has (unwisely) opened the floodgates?

We're talking about Dir En Grey, of course. Again, trying to dig up some appropriate genre labels, I went to google. Then the search engine spat this back at me: "Avant-garde metal, Progressive metal, Alternative metal, Gothic metal, Death metal", and for their earlier stuff, I'd like to throw in j-rock, visual kei and Nu-metal for good measure. So, yeah, I don't know.

Genres, schmenres.

By the way, I'm not trying to troll you with these picks.
I think it's some legitimately interesting songs, but... I'm not having high hopes that you won't hate all of this to Hell and back.
You do like quite a few things I wouldn't have pinned as your bag, so what do I know. Consider it an experiment, I guess?

I don't know if I'm sold on the song but Jesus Christ that woman is gorgeous.

I totally agree. I think she's from Israel originally. Women from around those parts can be stunning, tbh.
Impressively, that huge wart does nothing to diminish her attractiveness. It's just like a beauty mark.
But I'm into her for the music first and foremost. I swear ;)

I might be able to get into the music but I don't know at this point. It had potential. But if she and Gal Gadot are anything to go by I seriously need to get a "**** Yasir Arafat" shirt and hop a plane to Jerusalem. Arab women can be ridiculously hot as well. Something about the Middle East.

Yep, I expected it with the Lansky track tbh.

John Coltrane - Dearly Beloved

Out of respect for you (what?) I listened to the whole thing, though I was ready to call it at the two minute mark. Jazz like I always expect, sounds totally chaotic (of course it isn't, I understand that, but this is how it comes across to me) - drums seem to be doing what they like, the horn is good but annoyingly loud and overbearing. Piano is nice when it comes in but generally speaking it's not the sort of thing I enjoy. Kind of expected that anyway.
