I'm ignorant about knitting, opera, horseback riding, how to set the ropes on a galley, american football, Indonesian pottery and obscure European nightclub techno music.

I choose to mostly keep it this way. You have to make choices. It would be dishonest to suggest otherwise.

Just like how your strawman here is dishonest.

I'm just saying it's fine if Kiii doesn't really feel like spending his time trying to get into classical. Sure, he might be making a mistake. He also might not. But I also won't ever know if I would have loved knitting.

Are you interested in everything life throws at you? No? Well then there's my point.

I trust that you understand what knitting is. You not exploring it is fine. What would not be fine is rejecting knitting because you saw on tv that it made you gay.

I found Kiiii's "justifications" more objectionable than his lack of interest in the genre.

Because I find classical not interesting? That somehow is not good enough reason. Well then I'm sorry to disappoint you and your wannabe hipster hysteria but I just don't find classical interesting and I'm not going to waste my time with it.

Ok, I get a little better what your perspective is. The way I see it, Kiii has probably heard loads of classical through assimilation but never really felt anything "click". Fair enough, to my mind. I didn't really read any of his posts as him downright trying to say that classical sucks or anything.
