I might just get my friend to download the other albums for me, seeing as i don't have a downloading programme & you say they're not worth buying.
|
Well it`s not that they`re bad
They`re just nowhere near as good as Relationship Of Command |
:(
I like this Station is Non Operational as a matta of fact. But I have nothing else of theirs to compare it to. So maybe you're right. |

Yeah it is...but still.
Or no, i'm not 100% sure, but i'm like 95% sure it is. |
So these guys pwn, I just got some of their stuff and it is great. I'm too lazy to read all of this but what genre would they be under? (for future reference)

I am sorry but I have not come across this band.
Maybe I should check them out. |
Relationship of Command was great!
Personally I like the Mars Volta better, but I can see where some fans were lost with the new sound. |
Why does everyone always ignore Sparta? Porcelain is an amazing album.
|
atdi isn't really post-hardcore. i get you were are coming from...but they are just one of those bands that doesn't really have a classification, because no matter what you say it can be argued. they span over so many different genres.
but yes, they kick so much ass. and they did put on a kickass performance, shame i never saw them. and people ignore sparta because atdi and tmv PWN them. |

198d, one armed scissor, and hulahoop wounds.
|
Yes, that does happen to be three songs by the band.
|
palindrome.
|
to me the vocals in this band are bad, no matter how good the instruments playing are, the vocals are just bad.
|
That's because you are stupid. The vocals are great it all fits. You just have a horrible preseption of music
|
Remember seeing them playing live on Jools Holland`s TV show around 99/00 , that was the first time I saw them. It was like watching a car crash.
Obviously I went out & bought Relationship Of Command the very next day |
W00t!
|
While I can only barely stand hearing The Mars Volta for a few minutes, I think At the Drive In was an okay band.
Hell if I'd pay money to see their reunion though. But if it's possible then have fun, y'all, and I hope ticket buyers' remorse doesn't overwhelm you. |
At the Drive in is now on Spotify
...or at least Acrobatic Tenement and Relationship of Command.
Check it out here |
Maybe we don't need a new thread every time a band shows up on Spotify? Just put it in the artist's thread.

O M G M G |

mordo a little bit less though |
yeah idk, sucks that you aren't into it but i guess it's not for everyone. if you're looking to try some other stuff i would highly recommend slint, la dispute, and cloud nothings if you haven't tried any of them yet.
edit - oh **** and squirrel bait too, almost forgot. |

This better not turn out how Refused did.
|
if i'm being honest the song didn't really blow me away. it was ok i guess but im not sure how i would feel about a whole album like that. still, new atdi is enough for me to freak out.
