I've just bought the most amazing rock/dance crossover compliation called "Modular presents... Leave Them All Behind". The first CD is a 50-minute mix of some cracking tunes that are about at the moment. Some Bloc Party, Whitey, Killers etc. It's dance music, but not as we know it.

I dunno about turning me on, but yeah, Metric is a pretty catchy band. I wish Sweet Jane was still around. She was the only other person I can think of that liked Anthony and the Johnsons. I've come around and started listening to them lately as well.

Yea, I must admit that Anthony and The Johnsons took some getting used to, there's something eerie about his voice... to be honest the first time I heard "Hope there's someone" I thought it was someone like Fats Dominos!
