Methadrone is indeed a very shoegaze-influenced album. Some quality songs on it too!

I believe someone already mentioned the "Rock-Doc" DIG. Everyone should see this film!

Has anybody listened to their new EP, Smoking Acid, yet? I took a few listens, but really can't get into it. I've always enjoyed when they dabbled in electronica, but the acid house, I dunno (not that I have anything wrong with acid house!). Makes me long for the days of the 1980s nostalgia of Bravery, Repetition, and Noise, or the full blown 1960s revival of Their Satanic Majesties Second Request...

They have new material out already? I need to get on that.

Yeah, I was surprised. It's short, only 5 tracks, like We are the Radio and Just Like Kicking Jesus.

Like I said, I'm not terribly impressed with it. But can they really beat their hay day?

I've listen to it once already, I'll definately give it a few more listens through. Most of Anton's material is pretty consistent and I don't think I've down right not liked anything in the BJM catalogue.

Hey guys (well, mostly old***s), has anyone downloaded the newest BJM release "Who Killed Sgt. Pepper"? It's pretty kickin' and has more of a world music flavor (which is absent in any previous BJM albums), pretty damn fresh, right?

ps. You guys also might want to check out Dead Skeletons as well... "Dead Mantra" and "Kingdom of God" are both ****ing amazing and require atleast one listen through.
