I own both editions of The Head On The Door, there's no real difference in sound quality apart from the deluxe edition being mastered louder. The original is already pretty well produced anyway.

What's your favorite cure album, Zero?

Has to be Disintegration, followed by Faith. Disintegration isn't as accessible as most of their stuff but when you get into it words can't describe how beautiful it is. If you dig Faith go and get Disintegration next.

If your first starting out maybe give STARING AT THE SEA THE SINGLES a shot. It has all of their early good works and a slew of other songs. I'm a big fan of Head on the door and Disintegration, but check the set list on Staring its pretty damn good.

I was never a big fan of The Top, it just sounds messy and unfocused to me. Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me is great but probably not one of my favourites. There's some really great songs on it such as 'Just Like Heaven', 'If Only Tonight We Could Sleep' and 'The Perfect Girl' but there's some tracks on it that don't really do much for me.

All I Want and Why Cant I Be You are also good songs off that album. I even liked the Wish album after, Some good listens on that also.

my two favorites as well. "Faith" is a brilliant record. I have gotten mor and more into The Cure, I have not got through their discography yet, but chipping away at it when the mood hits.

But yeah, those 2 albums are brilliant.
