I got into modest mouse from hearing float on so I should probably get round to listening to their older stuff if float on isnt their best. I think the rest of good news for people who love to hear bad news sounds odd but nice, and I like that.

i absolutely lovemodest mouse. i think the fact that some poeple dont like/arent used to their vocals is just cause its another of those acquired taste thigns. either way ... there amazinggggg. :D

I'm usually really polite here when i express disliking for a band... But in this case, i find Modest Mouse to be excruciatingly horrible, i see no merit in this band whatsoever, and i fail to see how anyone else can.

im a huge modest mouse fan, but i think theyre quite a contreversial band, i love their older stuff, but i dont think gnfpwlbs is in need of such isolation because it a great album, just more mainstream. ive never been to a concert, but from wat ive read isaac brock is an *******. i liked his interview thing tho.

Great Band, Moon and Antarctica is a fine fine album.

johnny marr is arguably the best rythum guitarist ever. If you are an indie (pop) fan then likely he IS the best. He was the guitarist for The Smiths FYI.

Electronic were a side project with Marr and Tennent (of Pet Shop Boys). I REALLY liked their first album actually. But I also liked PSB at the time so dunno if indie kids these days will care for it... likely too dated to get into now..

Anyways - i think Marr and Modest Mouse could prove to be very interesting indeed!
