The Plastic Arts | Free Music, Tour Dates, Photos, Videos Is this really nice singer-songwriter that I've been into for a year or so. He's released two short albums, both of which are great. They're called Praise Box and Raleigh's Own (both available in full on youtube and also free download links on his site). You can check out a few songs like My Apologist, I live a Charmed Life and I talk a Big Game and then I don't.

recommendation threads are for responding to individual requests, NOT advertising whomever.

if you want to do that, contribute to a thread for the particular artist.

Oh, crap. I didn't realize, sorry. I just saw people linking stuff randomly so I just assumed everything was a go.

I would love a recommendation for a strong, solo female indie artist.

any suggestions?

^^ Thank you! The instant i heard "Daniel" i fell in love with Bat for Lashes. What a smooth, beautiful sound. You hit the nail on the head with this.

Thanks again.

Ok im venturing into genres I dont have a clue about in the least. After all this is a music forum so if anyone has any good recommendations of favorite artists or songs. Please feel free to post some links or vids for me. The ones ive skimmed over in here so far ive liked(which is a total of two I think lol) one i liked one i didnt. I dont know any artists well enough to have a favorite so a lil help would be nice.
