Default Could use some suggestions.

Lately I have been addicted to a lot of 90s lo fi music. I have been listening to a lot of the first Apples in Stereo album, Elliot Smith, Liz Phair, Guided by Voices, and some Mountain Goats. Any suggestions for some new music?

I even made a nice little drawing about my love for 90s music

Beyond the obvious of Pavement,Built To Spill and Modest Mouse, perhaps the mighty Beat Happening?

I am trying to discover some cool indie bands with female singers.
Care to attempt to toss me some I've never heard of?

Perhaps, Neutral Milk Hotel? They were a pretty lo-fi, indie band of the 90s. You can definitely hear the lo-fi in their demos and what not. I highly recommend Gardenhead/Leave Me Alone or In An Aeroplane Over The Sea

Now for the shoegaze, I would recommend, Blonde Redhead. I just got into them, and they're a real trashy feel. They sound a LOT like Sonic Youth.

And for the new wave/post punk stuff, I'm not really sure but some bands that might sound like Joy Division and etc etc are Interpol and She Wants Revenge. I recently saw She Wants Revenge live and they were fantastic! I recommend you listen Tear You Apart, Out of Control, or These Things
