FETCHER. 01-31-2011 09:07 PM

I had a dream I crashed my car through a beast of a tree and through a house at 120mph. My car was mangled so I called my friend and he never answered so I called an ambulance...

I had a dream where I was married and my wife was about to give birth to our child and a hippopotamus came out instead. No joke, a nightmare.

not all dreams are meant to be translated into what you desire subconsciously. some dreams are just for pure fun or just to be weird but there are some dreams where you can translate it and it's your subconscious trying to tell you something.

Ok I'm really getting sick of dreaming I'm going to the toilet. It actually means I need to go in reality and it drives me crazy waiting to wake up so I can get it over with. Do you guys find that?
I also hate that because if I don't force myself to wake up so I can really go....then I will actually pee the bed. I've had a couple of drunken nights where this was the case.

I had a horrible, horrible dream the other night, and haven't been able to get ample sleep as a result.

Basically, I was in the ocean standing on this rock jutting out of the water, and there was someone in the water who looked like they were drowning. I jumped in to save them, and when I hit the water, noticed they had a life jacket on. They kicked me and swam to the rock and climbed on, and the water started pulling me away from the rock. For some reason in the dream, I was wearing heavy boots, like army combat boots (no idea why) and they were really heavy and weighing me down. A wave crashed over me, knocking me underwater, and the boots were too heavy to get right back to the surface. So, I'm swimming as hard as I can up to the surface, and I can see it above me. I know that I'm going to make it to the top, but I am also (understandably) kind of shaken from being knocked under. I then realize that I'm not getting any closer to the surface because the damned boots are weighing me down, so I try to untie them...but I'm running out of air quickly, and they're not coming off. I look up again, and the surface is even farther away, so I know that I'm going to drown. I'm really scared for a minute, then all of the sudden, I'm completely okay with it. I know that it's inevitable, and I choose to embrace it. I breathe in a lungfull of water, and it hurts horribly. The corners of my vision are starting to disappear, and I feel myself passing out. Then, there's nothing. Not blackness. Not just passing out. I mean legitimately nothing. I'd died, and there was nothing at all.

I woke up, completely freaked out and breathing really hard, covered in sweat. I was really disoriented because I felt like I'd just experienced death, and it was the most horrible, surreal, and uncomfortable sensation I've ever had in my life.

So now I'm almost scared to go back to sleep - because I tend to have recurring dreams.

wow that sounds scary, well you should just stay up as long as you can then just eventually you will pass out from exhaustion.

****, not sure if it's because I occasionally smoke weed to help me sleep, so I basically go to sleep high. On some of those nights, I have the craziest dreams. What I can recall from some of them:

I was on the roof of a skyscraper, running from something. I was with a person, but I have no idea who. There was a bridge, with a clear floor, leading to another skyscraper roof. I cross the bridge and I am on the other building. The next thing that happened was the trippy part. I hear someone screaming, I turn back and I see someone in a panda suit running. He is being chased by two cops. The panda eventually trips, and the cops start hitting the guy with the sticks they have. I start screaming "hey" to try and get their attention. This is when I woke up, screaming the word "hey," and I started cracking up and went back to sleep.

Second one I remeber, I was with two people. One of them riding a bike, one riding a scooter, and I was riding a shopping cart. I had just left a family members house, which is weird because their house looked nothing like their house in real life. We then ride to the airport, where we are in the middle of the lane where the planes take off. I hear an engine, I turn around, and the two people I was with are gone. I turn back around and I see a motorcycle coming at me. I pull out a baseball bat and swing at the guys head and I kill him...dream ends there.

Weird ass dreams I have, and the thing is that when I have these type of dreams, I am in full control, but when I wake up, for the rest of that day, I am just tired as ****.

I haven't had many dreams lately. I usually have them after I've been drinking a lot or smoking. I'll wake up and remember several dreams if I go to sleep drunk. The one night last year it was crazy. I was really messed up and it was like i was dreaming while still awake. And I kept seeing cash registers open and shut and a little bell ringing sound kept going off. It was like every 5 seconds a new cash register would open, then shut, and I was seeing money everywhere too. It was all happening so fast, it was crazy.

Used to have a lot of bad dreams. I was in a bad car accident in high school and my brother was seriously injured. And for the next like 3-4 years I'd say 2-3 a week I would have car accident dreams. It was always weird though cause the situations were always different. I'd always be in a car with seemingly random people I knew and one time it'd be going off a cliff, sometimes flying into the woods, sometimes into other cars, etc. Sometimes I'd wake up upon impact, and sometimes I'd be dreaming I was laying in the wreckage. Don't have those dreams anymore thank god.

Had a dream I was at a Muse gig. I get a couple of those, which is nice because it always remind me of my actual concert experience.
