I’ve read that as part of a reader that I think included everything he ever wrote

Dude wrote some trippy ass ****

It is not light reading though / it’s supremely dense / that stuff took me a loooooong time to wade through

I won't start this book until I finish "1984" & then "The secret teachings of all ages" for a second time. I also haven't been logging my dreams so I'm just forgetting them after 15-30 mins after I wake up. I am going to do that and see where that gets me until I start this Sigmund Freud book. I suspect around February or March 2021. When I start this book then, I can log my thoughts on the chapters in this thread.

Do you write your dreams down? Sorry to hear about the nightmare also.

Had a pretty vivid dream that I thought a lot about when waking up. I got stuck on how familiar the setting was since the dream was based in a house and a city block surrounding it. I remembered how it was close to a trail where I spent a lot of time, but I couldn't place any specific memories about that place when I realized that I was remembering the setting from a different dream I had a couple of months ago. I couldn't remember what the old dream was about except for the setting, and I tried to focus on what it all looked like to try to retrigger what it was about. I wasn't successful but the act of trying to retrigger what the old dream was about was an equally weird, vivid experience as the dream beforehand which makes me wonder if the memory was of a real dream or if I was still half-asleep and dreaming by way of memory recall.

I had a dream where I logged onto Music Banter and no matter what thread I was reading Frownland was there trolling me pretty hard. Thanks to that dream I now know how Chula Vista felt.

I dreamt that Appalachian State was within walking distance of Manhattan.

Over the course of my life I’ve had several dreams that NYC was in the middle of a huge rural area.

This image of LA isn’t exactly the same but it still has a surreal prophetic feeling to it.

I had a Jewish girlfriend at Appalachian State that wore perfectly pristine make up and clothes and meticulous black hair.

The campus hosted the Sugar Bowl and the Cotton Bowl but only the Sugar Bowl had a stadium. The Cotton Bowl allowed the same attendance but the seats weren’t elevated and some of them were in a church where you could still see the game for some reason.

I dreamt I was out west hiking in the mountains in the snow and for some reason I didn’t need snowshoes and it was incredibly beautiful

Then my family from when I was a kid was there and I made my dad disappear by saying the word “61”

Then I was driving down the freeway and there were these kids running on the runoff lane and for some reason I knew they were from Brazil and one of their fathers had died

Then it was like something that really happened like based on a time I went to see Sonic Youth in Blacksburg except instead of staying at my friends house I had a hotel and I was swimming in a pool and playing that game where you hit a volleyball tied to a pole.

The first part of the dream is a reoccurring dream about a hiking spot in a red rock section in the Rockies but every other time I’ve dreamt I was there there wasn’t any snow.

It was all so beautiful. Even the part about the kids from Brazil wasn’t sad. It was cool and happy.
