Alrighty, I see.
Point for DROMO.

DontRunMeOver 06-04-2006 02:27 PM

Its in Labirynth, but she gets it wrong. C.A., I did get it wrong the first time, read it again. The concept was right, but it was the wrong way around.

Anyways, I've got it right now.

Alo 06-04-2006 02:28 PM

Mhh, cool one, I had to read it a few times before I got it... xD

cardboard adolescent 06-04-2006 02:32 PM

Oh yeah, sorry, when I got the answer I said which isn't rigged and go through the opposite one.

But you still cheated.

DontRunMeOver 06-04-2006 02:37 PM

I'm usually resting
Or racing around
I live on the surface
But my food's underground
I drink it through a straw
But not via my face
I swallow up humans
But they usually escape

I made it up, so it might not be very good... What is it?

How did I cheat, Carboard Adolescent. By knowing the answer?

Pffft
It was in Doctor Who 10 years before that & he got it right.

cardboard adolescent 06-04-2006 02:42 PM

The point of riddles is to figure them out, not to already know the answer. But I don't really care.

And that's why he was an intergalactic uber-travelling time lord and not a rubbish baby-sitter who can't look after her little bro for just one night without him being kidnapped by goblins.

I did figure it out. I figured it out when I was 8 and when you asked it I remembered my answer.

Urban Hat€monger ? 06-04-2006 02:44 PM

Peter Davison could be described as him being a rubbish baby sitter if i`m being particually nasty.

DontRunMeOver 06-04-2006 02:49 PM

Answer the riddle biatches!

bungalow 06-04-2006 02:50 PM

Its hard.

Is the answer a living thing?

DontRunMeOver 06-04-2006 02:58 PM

No. Awesome, its a hard riddle! I just made one small adjustment which might make it a bit easier.

a tornado?

DontRunMeOver 06-04-2006 03:02 PM

No. Tornado's don't really rest (when they're resting, they don't exist).
They don't have underground food.
Human's that get "swallowed up" by tornado's don't "usually" escape.

I can see where you're coming from with the other lines. But no.

bungalow 06-04-2006 03:03 PM

What adjustment did you make?

DontRunMeOver 06-04-2006 03:05 PM

I changed

My food's underground
I drink through a straw

To

My food's underground
I drink it through a straw

Meaning that the food is drank through a straw. That's what it meant before anyway, but the second version is a bit clearer.

bungalow 06-04-2006 03:06 PM

Um!
The aliens in war of the worlds?

cardboard adolescent 06-04-2006 03:06 PM

Tom Cruise?

Merkaba 06-04-2006 03:08 PM

What the hell drinks through a straw but it's not on it's face?

bungalow 06-04-2006 03:08 PM

What kind of this that isn't even alive eats?

DontRunMeOver 06-04-2006 03:08 PM

Do they drink through a straw? That's a better guess, if you think about what you see swallowing up humans in that film then it might get you closer (actually that clue might just confuse you more).

I might continue to alter the riddle to make it easier, I did just make it up...

You might have to think a bit metaphorical then. Its no worse than that Seagull Soup riddle!

bungalow 06-04-2006 03:09 PM

UFOs?

cardboard adolescent 06-04-2006 03:09 PM

A vacuum cleaner of some sort? Or maybe some kind of filter thingy?

right-track 06-04-2006 03:10 PM

A car?

bungalow 06-04-2006 03:13 PM

That makes sense.

I'll give you a chemistry based clue here then. Living organisms take food to allow them to create energy with which to perform their vital functions. This energy is produced through a process in which an organic compound (the food) reacts with oxygen to produce carbon dioxide, water and a few other waste products. In this case, the food is something that is ingested to allow this same energy production to occur.

I never said that it eats anything though.

I have keys that open no locks,
I have space, but you cannot fill it,
You can enter, but you cannot leave.
What am I?

No cheating...

A computer keyboard?

But what about the caps-lock key...? That opens and closes a lock!

Don't worry, that's a good one. Its easy to get because it actually makes sense. Right, I'll think up another one soon.

bungalow 06-04-2006 03:22 PM

Lets stick to riddles we didn't make up....

DontRunMeOver 06-04-2006 03:28 PM

Well somebody got it... Feeling bitter are we, Billy?

Ok, here's one that I quite like.

Angry and hungry are two words which have the suffix -GRY. There are only three words in the English language. What is the third word? The word is something that everyone uses every day. I have already told you what it is.

bungalow 06-04-2006 03:30 PM

Not at all.

tdoc210 06-04-2006 03:31 PM

whats long hard and full of semen

bungalow 06-04-2006 03:32 PM

That riddle doesn't work when you write it out.

right-track 06-04-2006 03:33 PM

What's the strongest muscle in your mams body?

To DOC...

tdoc210 06-04-2006 03:37 PM

^ im not speaking to you until you write an apology.....

DontRunMeOver 06-04-2006 03:37 PM
