No. Awesome, its a hard riddle! I just made one small adjustment which might make it a bit easier.

No. Tornado's don't really rest (when they're resting, they don't exist).
They don't have underground food.
Human's that get "swallowed up" by tornado's don't "usually" escape.

Meaning that the food is drank through a straw. That's what it meant before anyway, but the second version is a bit clearer.
