Ha ha I'm definently with Alejo...I thought you were a dude too, until I read something about you wanting compliments or something, because guys don't say that kind of stupid stuff.

It's ok man, lots of people make the same mistake.

You're right it is the short hair and glasses that make me look the most boyish.

Oh and thrice clear your PM inbox. I'm trying to send you a message.

BACK ON TOPIC!!!

Way back when, when I said everybody should be fed, educated, etc. I meant EVERYBODY. That just proves my point on how self-centered the American populace is. Just because you might not be dying of malaria and hunger, doesn't mean some child in Rwanda isnt either. We're all human beings, why do some of us live better than others?? That thought just outrages me to no end. Before we go to OTHER planets to screw things up, before we bomb Baghdad into gravel. Lets try to fix our existing problems before we make new ones.

So it is our job to feed the people of Iraq, yet when we want a say in how their government is run, the United States is called the "World Police." People say how we show interest in business that isn't ours...Yet if we are supporting those countries, you better believe we should have a right in affairs that are going on. Self-centered? More like self-dependant. You can't have your pie and eat it too.

^ to be fair, bombing the hell out of their county under false pretences is quite a bit more than "wanting a say in how their government is run". And to answer your question, yes, I for one do believe that as developed nations we have a responsibility to help those who have so much less. I mean, it was pure luck that we were all born in Canada or the US, and honestly, how can you be aware of the conditions under which these people live and not want to help?

Its just a big human cause I think we have to settle, were lucky because we have opprotunity, some people dont. We have a duty, I believe, to help them.

I was saying that as an example, not for Iraq, but I know what you mean...I don't agree but I know what you are saying. I believe that if you are going to invest in something, such as the development of a country, you should have a say in how things are done though.
