dont lump me in there. yeah im american but i havent done $hit to them. and they hate us because they are muslims. its their job. in the end only one religion can exist, be it christianity, islam, hinduism, etc. but muslims seem to be the only ones to realize that.

I was just born here. Why do I have to have as much nationalism as a European? Why should my government portray who I am and what I a believe? Whenever I hear someone put all of us collectively in a group it pisses me off. It pisses me off whenever any nation is judged by their government. They are the few not the many. The concept of a republic is rubbish. Chosing someone to make your choices is what your doing. They do not depict my opinions and my morals.

Well said and that goes for religion to.
Maybe if the so called Christians, Muslims, Hindus etc practiced what they preached...we'd all live in a peacefull world.
Nothing wrong with religion, just some of the morons that live by it.

The whole point of a democratic government is that it's meant to be a good representation of the people. if it's not, then there is something seriously F*cked up with the system

when a gov election is split somewhat like 49/51% its impossible to pacify everyone. the system is definitely flawed.

We pick the people by who they claim to be. Every situation is different. Just because you voted for someone to represent you doesn't mean they will.

Yes. And that is the problem I have with America. I apologise for stereotyping, I know loads.. in fact, every American Person I have ever met has disagreed with Bush, strangely enough. I said you, because Oojay said us in the post I was reffering to.

I'm not really too sure. You see, their President preaches messages of hate. Not the Ayatollah. The President can't launch a military campaign, the Ayatollah can. So although he may talk big, he can't do anything. The Ayatollah, Ali Khamenei, isn't running around preaching messages of hate. He's not a massive religious extremist who stones anyone who does anything vaguely against the Qu'ran and, as I've mentioned before, Iran on the whole is a very progressively minded country.

Not that it's entirely relevant. I hate George Bush but I'm not going to pick up a gun and start taking pot shots at him. And although Nuclear is a very scary word, there is a massive amount that has to be done to turn a nuclear power station into a nuclear missile. Them building a power station does not make them missile capable.
