Wasn't the bomb detonated underground? I definitely remember reading about an underground nuke test, although that might have been somewhere else. If it was underground then the fallout would be underground, unless the explosion managed to burst through to the surface, and there shouldn't be any fallout OVER North Korea. It would be contained and localized.

At least everything will be sorted out, I'm sure Mr. Bush will have everything under control, as he is ruler of the world right now.

I went and looked at an article (which I can't quote because I then went and made dinner) and it said that they tested the air and there was no radioactive matter found to have leaked out... which just proves that there was no nuclear test performed in a leaky chamber in the ground below where they tested the air.

UN is now trying to pass sanctions against North Korea, but big surprise, China (who shares an 800 mile border w/NK) is refusing to enforce ANY of them. So what is the UN doing? they weaken their already watered down sanctions to basically barely even give NK a slap on the wrist. US and Japan have alligned themselves, both not quite threatening military action against NK, but stating that if NK doesnt comply with UN sanctions then there will be consequences.

Typical U.N. always giving way to the big boys.

America needs to go back into a state of isolationism like we were a hundred years ago.

That would be impossible.

Well we shouldn't try to go solve everybody else's problems. It isn't our place. Doesn't anyone in the government read comic books? Usually by trying to help someone who wasn't looking for it creates an enemy you didn't plan on.
