if condy ran she would unquestionabky get Bush's support just on the basis of her political party alone, not to mention the fact that they are good personal friends.

I just don't like the idea that she took the job colin powell resigned from because he had the sense to know something was amiss.

I just don't like the fact that she's good friends with bush. She doesn't have to screw up anything.

Well, somebody had to fill the position. We cant have a vacant Secretary of State. And how does Condoleeza Rice being good friends with Bush (her boss) hurt anything? If anything its a good thing.

McCain is going to run? Fo Serious? I'd take him over any of those democrats and I'm a hardcore liberal.

this is just my prediction. it may be hilarious b/c Lieberman (democrat) has tons of republican support and McCain (republican) has tons of democratic support.

Liberman won't get the democrat nomination because not only does he have republican support but democrat dissaproval. He might run independent which would be very interesting.

republicans basically have no other major players than McCain/Gulianni. Democrats have an open field with Clinton, Lieberman, Obama, Casey, Kerry, Edwards, Gore, and of course the fringe groups swith Sharpton, Jackson, etc. (not to imply that African Americans are a fringe group).

I don't know why we're racking our brains trying to figure out who the next president might be.
we all know it won't be a republican so the list of candidates just narrows.
