That's all very fair.

Speaking of pithy phrases and bumper stickers, I used to have a t-shirt with the classic 'MEAN PEOPLE SUCK' written across the front. I actually had some idiot punk girl hassle me in the middle of a street once because she'd taken offense to my shirt... mean people RULED because her parents didn't approve of the mean punks she hung out with.

It's been almost a decade and I still have a bit of a headache left from how hard my eyes rolled.

Geez..Guess I have to make random post to make a new thread, 15 posts I think.

Hey, can someone explain to me? I've posted several quotes at random threads, still had zero posts..:(

I'm new btw and I can't even post new thread to introduce myself.

You cant make a new thread to introduce yourself? Are you sure?

And lounge posts don't count toward your post count.

This makes you sound like a spammer.

You can start a thread with 0 post count, you just can't post links.

Is the way deaf people speak the way humans naturally speak without external influences to shape their voice?

if it was, why would anyone speak any differently? If all external influences sounded like that, wouldn't we just keep talking that way?

Not sure, but people do change how they talk based on where they live and their social status so you can't deny that our voices are shaped by our environment.

I guess people hear a certain voice that they identify with their situation and take on that voice. As to how that voice came to represent that particular, I have no idea.
