Did Depeche Mode really do a cover of Tainted Love?

I think the people who say that they did are just confused with Soft Cell. Though I'd hate to be an ignorant fool so, inform me bitches.

Edit: I've searched everywhere for the Depeche Mode "version" on the net and everytime I get a link it's Soft Cell.
Swim I'm beginning to think your right... Soft Cell are being confused with Depeche Mode.

I'd love it if anyone can find out for sure.

I found it on the site you gave me. I used Tainted love instead of Depeche Mode. It's the last one on this page. I'm rather curious how many people call Soft Cell's version Depeche Mode though.
