I've figured out that you know when you've got a really good friend is when you don't have to try very hard to keep the conversation flowing. I used to think that until I realized how pathetic the alternative was. I have alot of friends but only a few that I count as close. That's the way it should be imo. A friend is someone who will support you and take care of you and they know you'd do the same.
