Sounds like a homemade gravity bong. Did them for years, it's kinda of the norm around here to smoke that way I guess. I laid out how to make one a few pages back. But it helps conserve bud better than anything.
Anyway James.. I used to be a 16 year old sophomore who was like anti-drug and didn't know much about anything. There was this mystique around weed, and everyone at school knew which kids smoked and who didn't. Before junior year I started smoking with my sports teammates and realized it's awesome. The mystique surrounding it in high school is the dumbest part til you actually try it and you're like... This rules.
For one, there's like a 99% chance you don't get caught. You'll probably be at someones house so no worries there. If it gets around school, who cares. People found out i smoked and nobody even gave a ****. If anything it just made me even cooler to be honest. Smoking kinda opens up this little subculture of different people you might otherwise not meet or talk to. Sharing the green is such a beautiful thing. A lot of people try weed once or twice and don't like it. But those people don't really get to experience the positives of weed. They already have this notion it will make them feel weird, or bad, or something. So they try it and can't relax or whatever. If you are in a comfortable place with people you know, then it's all good. Smoke up, throw on a stupid movie and over-analyze stupid parts of it, or throw on some music. I remember waching The Usual Suspects after taking like 10 bong rips and we sat there and analyzed the fire at the beginning for half the movie lol. Don't take it so serious man, for real.
