Me too buddy, that's about the going rate here. An eighth (~3.5 grams) runs for $60, and I've NEVER seen cheaper prices for headies.

Dealers are so fxcking stingy around me I won't see a price drop for buying in bulk unless I'm purchasing upwards of half an ounce. And they ALWAYS short me, every single time. I've had it so bad that an "ounce" got me 23 g. The last purchase I made was from a dealer whose supplier didn't trim the bud; it was leafy, ugly and (unsurprisingly) weak. Just unnecessary levels of skeeviness all around.

That is whack. You should seriously invest in a set of scales, and offer to smoke the dealers out. Then say you're going to weigh out a goodish portion to smoke with them - but you need to make sure that your scale's working by weighing the oz. - then, you know, smoke a bowl with them - but once they see you've got scales and it looks like you're trusting them, they're not going to short you.

That was a one time thing. I haven't bought more than a quarter at a time since.

I have use of a scale. It doesn't do me much use though; most dealers I've encountered won't spare the time for a bowl or self-respect to allow their product weighed. Or if they will, it's a take-it-or-leave-it situation; there is no bargaining involved.

Honestly I don't think my problems stem from lack of quality available, just the void of a reliable dealer that I haven't found yet.

I don't know why but i wanna talk about the first time I got drunk, and I figure this is the thread to do it in.

I was 14, and it was on a Friday in March 2010, and in gym class my friend Schekk invited me and my other friend Johnny over to his Dad's house. After school we headed over and chilled for a little bit, watched some TV. Johnny and Schekk smoked some weed and asked me if I wanted some. I said no, I had never even been drunk before I told them(I was a late bloomer to drugs). They then asked me if I wanted to get drunk.
That I was a lot more partial to.

They busted out some whiskey and downed some shots. I wasn't ready to take it straight so Johnny mixed me a drink of 50/50 whiskey and peach juice. I drank that while they continued to do shots. I remember feeling a slight buzz then cause that was the first time something was altering my consciousness. After that I took 2 shots outside with them, right as his dad pulled in. We talked with him for a little bit, then he went inside. After that we just chilled outside for a bit. I remember feeling a little looser and that what I did had no consequences.

After that Schekk asked me if I wanted to stay the night and I said sure. The effects of the whiskey wore off in around an hour and a half, if I remember right. Johnny went home and me and Schekk walked around town for a few hours.

At around 8:00 we set up our beds in Schekks Dad's basement, Schekk took 4 beers from his dad and we went and met up with our friends Caleb and Kyle. Kyle got this 18 year old we know to buy us a 24 pack of beer. We walked down to this park and all had a beer or two other than Schekk who had the 4 he got from his dad. After that we met up with 3 other kids and walked out to this big ass field in our town.

I had about 4 more beers, and all the other kids polished off the rest. I remember looking at my shadow and thinking it looked weird as ****. I climbed up on a big pile of garbage and jumped off. It felt great. After that we walked through town for a while and I really couldn't stop talking. I was annoying everyone else because they had all been drinking for a few years by this point and could supress the effects easily. After everyone told me to shut up I did. After that we walked to my friend Ryans house and had another beer there. This older kid tried top fight me but I told him to **** off and he did.

After that we left Ryans and walked to a park and met up with like 5 other kids, and chilled with them for a while. One girl said she was sad that she missed seeing my first time getting drunk. A bunch of kids stayed at the park but me, Schekk, Kyle and Caleb walked to the school. Kyle walked to his trailer to get his sleeping bag. I remember Schekk saying something about me and Caleb having huge dicks and then Kyle having a small one(he was pretty hammered by this point lol), that was weird haha.

After that we walked around town till like 2:00 AM and then went back to Schekk's Dad's house. Schekk, caleb and Kyle smoked a bowl but I didn't want any so I just fell asleep. The morning after we all played Clue and ate breakfast. Then I walked home. I remember feeling very happy because I had a pretty fun night.

All in all it was a sweet experience.

Very cool first time drinking story, DoctorSoft! You reminded me of my first time drinking, haha.

Basically, it was my first night at Morehead State, I was 17-years-old, and I'd managed to click with one of my roommates and her friend on the first night, two nights before classes started.

On my first night, they invited me to a party - I'd never been to an actual party-party; I was way to busy with drama, volleyball, softball, basketball, volunteering for an environmental organization, and all of that stuff, so my out of school social life wasn't especially substantial.

I offered to drive, as I'd never drank before in my life, and my roommate and her best friend (who I later dated, but that's not exceptionally important to this story) were about to pile into my car, when I actually decided to say why I was driving.

I was like, "Yeah, I've never actually drank before, so I'll go to the party, but I'm not going to drink because I just...don't. But it's cool that we get to socialize."

At this point, the two girls laughed, and my roommate said, "Is your car an automatic? Because I will totally drive if you promise to drink for the first time with us."

I was wary, but told her yeah, and we all got into my car. At the party, they had five fifths of Admiral Nelson, and I really was concerned. I had no idea what being drunk was like! We started playing "High Card, Low Card" and I was awful at it. Before I really knew what was happening, I'd had close to a dozen shots.

Now, I'm not an exceptionally large person, but I had been seated this entire time, and wasn't really feeling much of anything - aside from an increased desire to talk to everyone, and a need to pee.

I said, "Dude, why do people even drink? I just feel happy and talkative - this isn't impairing at all!" and everyone just smiled knowingly at me. Then I was like, "Dude, where's the bathroom - I need to pee.." and started to stand up.

Then, it all hit me, and I face-planted on the card table.

I didn't puke that night, but I did learn what getting drunk was like. And I also smoked pot for the first time ever that night - although because of that night, I was convinced that tongue was always involved in shotgunning.

After reading how much y'all are paying for street weed, I sort of feel spoiled only having to throw $70-80 per 1/4 of dank medical grade bud. Colorado's only contribution to mankind; decent MMJ dispensaries.

Ha! I'm lucky too, I guess - being in Kentucky, one would think it wouldn't be that cheap. I guess it pays to know people.

That's one of my favourite things to do. I love tripping out to electronic music while high and watching the windows media player patterns spin around.
