I tried them and found them to be crap, I used them for the first week then just stopped.

Well I've been prescribed the 16mg ones. The first day was a bit hard. 2nd I decided to put 2 on. 3rd I kept being stupid sticking to 2 and removed one after feeling sick. 1 is working fine now.

But damn does your appetite escalate and become a medicating distraction for cravings.

Video games are actually a pretty good distraction from smoking in my experience as well. Usually I can't go an hour without wanting another smoke, but with video games, I can go hours without even thinking about them. I don't know why more people don't suggest it. I guess it just doesn't sound very professional to say, "Just play some Mario."

Works for some I guess. Yesterday I was playing Metal Gear Solid 2 and kept getting caught, so I became frustrated and all I wanted was a smoke

They give you a buzz, right? I find that really strange. Sorta like the e-cigs but in patch form.
