I mean technically you could make a case for people like the Greek who invented democracy (was that Pericles?) but those people don't live as a similar figure/symbol in our collective imagnation nowadays. I mean the fact that I'm not sure who I'm talking about says enough (even though it's partly due to it being 1 am here I guess)

Uh so maybe not quite as impactful as Hitler in your opinion but still in the same league in terms of being massive historical figures... None of whom you guys picked which tells me you just weren't thinking historically which would have been a better rebuttal instead of trying to make a special "hitler doesn't count" rule lol

If the argument is that Hitler is too mainstream you guys still lose for not picking a smaller but still evil dictator like mussolini or mugabe etc

Either way the moral of the story is I win.
