1. What favourite TV show do you remember from your childhood/youth?

Top Cat (cartoon), Ready, Steady, Go (pop music show), The Man From U.N.C.L.E. (spy adventure)

2. Do you still own a wallet/purse, or if not, what do you carry your cards/cash/other items around in these days?

Can't improve on Plankton's answer:

3. Has your political affiliation changed in say the last ten years? Or do you have any?

Not changed so much as sharpened and changed focus since I started watching too much CNN

4. What is your dream career, even if you have no chance ever of achieving it?

I think being a travel writer must be so cool: mooching around different places, then writing something clever about them.

6. Wallpaper, paint or other?

Grew up with wallpaper in every room, but in my present circs it's impossible because it would get infested with insects. Plain painted walls are easiest on the eye, but I quite like one wall with a patterned wallpaper and 3 walls plain.

1. What favourite TV show do you remember from your childhood/youth?

Probably the original Star Trek and Robin of Sherwood

2. Do you still own a wallet/purse, or if not, what do you carry your cards/cash/other items around in these days?

I haven't had a proper wallet for years. I've been using those credit card holder things the bank gives you. Only problem is they're not really meant for constant use and they come apart regularly.

3. Has your political affiliation changed in say the last ten years? Or do you have any?

I'm not politically motivated. I'm a card-carrying member of the "Can't We Just All Get Along" Party.

4. What is your dream career, even if you have no chance ever of achieving it?

To be a successful writer. And a rich one.

5. List four people (living or dead) who have been a real influence on your life (good or bad)

My mother, my Auntie Eileen, Michael Moorcock and Anne Rice.

6. Wallpaper, paint or other?

Paint. You can't drink wallpaper.

2. Do you still own a wallet/purse, or if not, what do you carry your cards/cash/other items around in these days?

I own like 12 wallets.

3. Has your political affiliation changed in say the last ten years? Or do you have any?

No, I'm right where I'm going to be forever.

4. What is your dream career, even if you have no chance ever of achieving it?

Attorney General.

5. List four people (living or dead) who have been a real influence on your life (good or bad)

4 people who were once my friends - My best friend, my closest relative at the time who was around my age, my neighbor, and my only real relationship.

6. Wallpaper, paint or other?

A lot of you Americans seem to like this bare brick effort... shrug. Maybe you like covering your walls with pictures and posters?

As a matter of fact, I used to adorn my walls with rock posters from the sixties and seventies. Then a strange thing happened, I grew up.

Not just Americans; it became very popular when London's Victorian warehouses were being converted into flats/offices a few decades back. And of course exposed masonry was v popular in medieval times, especially for people like my ancestors who couldn't afford a decent tapestry.

I'm not a American, but I associate wall paper with old ladies and geraniums (prejudice, I know). I like walls to have one plain colour, but I cover my own with posters and African fabrics so it hardly counts as a plain wall
