Not that I think only the mods should be posting the questions, even though it's what the thread was founded on, but I kinda liked it back when the mods would PM random members each week for the questions. You always got a different set of questioning styles and never had a monopoly on the questions. That can get real boring with the same brains behind things all the time.

I think we should get back to the selected member six pack questions.

CunningStunt... I deleted the new questions you just posted. IT'S NOT SATURDAY YET. If we just randomly posted questions, people will randomly answer them and start randomly posting their own and this will become The Indiscriminate Survey Thread.

Let's stick to the format. Your questions are only soft-deleted, so they are recoverable when the time comes.

I didn't have another copy, I could probably remember them if I tried. But it's 5:30 in the morning.

I've found Friday night's the best time to put them up. You gonna put them up whenever?

I'll leave you with it FB, I like the idea of people submitting different questions. But not just mods, a first come first serve could work. And whatever's left over makes up the next one. The only thing with that, if people don't submit then we're back to square 1.

That's why it'd be up to the mods to collect. If no one submits, one of the mods take up the slack.
Anyway, I don't know about the other mods, but me personally, I'd rather the thread not simply be a dumping ground for the first random arriving party to drop 6 retarded and/or worn-out questions without a second thought. If you have to wait an entire week for a new set of questions, it may as well be on a set of questions people actually find interesting and want to answer, and haven't answered a hundred times already, which would provide enough responses to last until the next round... like it used to.

That's the only reason there's an actual need for QC.

I think everyone should try and get involved, because it's an excellent thread. But if people don't, then it's up to the mods. If you mods are fine with it then I think it could work. I think the retarded questions is a bit unfair, it's hard to think of fresh questions

this thread has died a few times, so when someone comes along with a few questions it's nice, even if the questions aren't really good quality. But yeah, if you're up for being the one to take suggestions via PM for questions, I'd happily try and submit some.

I'm glad it's up and running again, but there were questions that were being repeated over and over again weekly, because members were just posting **** up without even seeing what had been posted in previous weeks. It could even be argued that that's the reason why it died out.

Freebase is right. There's a reason why it's set up the way it is.
