I used to eat Subway and I always thought they were acceptable sandwiches... until I discovered the sandwiches from Schlotzsky's Deli. I will never turn back. It would be sacrilege.

Do you guys have Schlotzsky's in Texas??

Yep we do. Definitely not my favorite, from what I remember anyway. I haven't been to one for eons. Alot of people round here hold the same opinion you do though.

I'd take Quiznos over both of them anyday.

Next time you get the inkling, grab up a classic turkey club with Jalapeno cheddar bread and call me in the morning.

Quiznos is pretty good, and would hold them above Subway any day, but Schlotzsky's beats them both by miles for me. Only 2 other places I've had better sandwiches than Schlotzsky's was once in 1999 at a place called "Your Momma's Back Yard" in Pinellas Park, FL.. and the commissary in Mannheim, DE on the military post I was stationed on. You can see how my options are now limited to Schlotzsky's until I get some good intel on decent sandwich shops, but I'm fine with the option I have now.

You will not regret it. The turkey has a really good smoked taste that goes perfect with the jalapeno cheddar bread. Everything else on it is just extra yum.

I swear you have to really rag on them to get enough on too. Their idea of a lot and my idea of a lot are two different things. Before we go to our concert one of these days, we hold up a Subway and make them hand over all the banana peppers.

I am confused.
Tabasco is a hot sauce that's popular in North America, jalapenos are peppers that are also popular here because of their spiciness and flavour. I believe the question is which type of hot do you prefer?
