You know, I've always thought that there was a strange duality to the stereotypical British person. On the one hand, people expect them to be all polite and sophisticated, and yet on the other we also expect them to be hot-headed blokes leaving a stadium yelling "Oi, Westham just got trounced! Let's go glass some wankers!" You guys should just pick one and run with it. I mean, Americans went full asshole years ago, and we've never looked back.

Your first example, polite & sophisticated is the stereotypical, quintessential middle class. Second one is working class. But a bad example though cos of the north/south divide.

btw did you watch Green Street recently or something? How have you heard of West Ham?

Oh, I have my ways. By the way, did you see that ludicrous display last night?

I give them my brightest and most beautiful smile, which has been known to end wars, and ask them with my beautiful, gentle voice, "Which would you suggest, darling?: and wink charmingly at them.

1. If you were given the powers of a god/goddess and invited to live on mount Olympus, what would you be the patron deity of, and what would your signature symbol/weapon be?
I would be the patron deity of high schoolers everywhere, and my signature weapon would be a sharp-ass pencil.

2. Do most of your favorite movies/songs/books come from a specific decade, or is it all an equally distributed mix?
I dunno. I haven't really noticed any pattern.

3. Does it bother you more when you feel that someone is trying too hard, or when you feel that someone isn't trying hard enough?
**** people who don't try at all. You know when you have a group assignment at school (or had), and half of the group just decides to not contribute in any way whatsoever? ****. That.

4. If you were given the opportunity to create/compile a soundtrack for a movie, which genre would you prefer that the movie came from?
It'd be a low-budget horror film.

5. You order your favorite flavor of ice cream. The depressed and over worked person behind the counter asks, in a mournful tone, "cup or cone?"
"Cheer the **** up,
then give me a cup."

6. Is there anything that you used to hate as a child, but now love? If not, is there anything you used to love as a child, but now hate?
Mah favourite drug is in mah coffee mug, but I used to hate it.

Sex and alcohol. Lovers don't have weapons besides their wits, I'd walk around with a heart-shaped flask.

2. Do most of your favorite movies/songs/books come from a specific decade, or is it all an equally distributed mix?

I like newer movies, older music, and books from whenever.

3. Does it bother you more when you feel that someone is trying too hard, or when you feel that someone isn't trying hard enough?

Not trying hard enough. I'm on my own case about this all the time.

4. If you were given the opportunity to create/compile a soundtrack for a movie, which genre would you prefer that the movie came from?

Hmmm.... a quirky indie romantic dramady.

5. You order your favorite flavor of ice cream. The depressed and over worked person behind the counter asks, in a mournful tone, "cup or cone?"

Most of the time those cones taste like plastic. If it's a fancy place, I'll get one and not give a **** about the ensuing mess. Otherwise... cups.

6. Is there anything that you used to hate as a child, but now love? If not, is there anything you used to love as a child, but now hate?

I used to hate people. Now I love some people.

1. If you were given the powers of a god/goddess and invited to live on mount Olympus, what would you be the patron deity of, and what would your signature symbol/weapon be?

Seduction. I'd kill with my skills and leave a lipstick kiss on my victims.

2. Do most of your favorite movies/songs/books come from a specific decade, or is it all an equally distributed mix?

I'm pretty much lost in the 60s and 70s. I have no shame over this.

3. Does it bother you more when you feel that someone is trying too hard, or when you feel that someone isn't trying hard enough?

It bothers me more when people are obviously trying too hard to be someone they're not, trying too hard to get people on their side, trying too hard to be somebody instead of just being who they are. I can't deal with those people.

4. If you were given the opportunity to create/compile a soundtrack for a movie, which genre would you prefer that the movie came from?

Horror/psychological thriller.

5. You order your favorite flavor of ice cream. The depressed and over worked person behind the counter asks, in a mournful tone, "cup or cone?"

Cup, please.

6. Is there anything that you used to hate as a child, but now love? If not, is there anything you used to love as a child, but now hate?

The only thing that comes to mind are Skittles. Loved 'em as a kid, can't even look at them without feeling sick now.

1. If you were given the powers of a god/goddess and invited to live on mount Olympus, what would you be the patron deity of, and what would your signature symbol/weapon be?

Clearly I would be a trickster god, and a trickster god's weapons are his lies.

2. Do most of your favorite movies/songs/books come from a specific decade, or is it all an equally distributed mix?

Movies: generally stuff after the seventies, as old school acting just doesn't click with me.

Songs: 70s-90s apparently, though the 80s has been my home decade ever since I was in high school.

Books: *shrug*

3. Does it bother you more when you feel that someone is trying too hard, or when you feel that someone isn't trying hard enough?

**** trying.

4. If you were given the opportunity to create/compile a soundtrack for a movie, which genre would you prefer that the movie came from?

Porn.

5. You order your favorite flavor of ice cream. The depressed and over worked person behind the counter asks, in a mournful tone, "cup or cone?"

Depends on the size of the cup. Waffle cones can be pretty big, but cups are generally going to have more room for ice cream.

6. Is there anything that you used to hate as a child, but now love? If not, is there anything you used to love as a child, but now hate?

I used to love The Phantom Menace...
