Yes, exactly; all of this was covered in the Potato Discourse thread.

You know I don't think I've ever heard of bacon bits in mashed potatoes. Seems like a no brainer tbh.

It's pretty common and is usually referred to as part of the fixins.

I only ever see it on baked potatoes though.

How often do you get mashed potatoes in a restaurant? Might be the reason why you haven't seen it.

Steak restauruants seem more likely to do the really thick mashed potatoes with bacon and lots of garlic and skins and everything in them. That's where I usually see them, anyway.

Those are the best mashed potatoes.

1.) Have you ever been on TV?

Yup. Camera zoomed in on me at a baseball game once.

2.) What foreign food do you enjoy most (general or specific)?

Bangers and mash

3.) Have you ever made a fool of yourself in public? What happened?

I do this on a regular basis.

4.) Do people in your area play obnoxiously loud music on their cellphones while on the bus?

Dunno, I never ride the bus in my area.

5.) Do you think you could do better in life?

I pester myself with that question every day, so yes.

6.) Do you think a certain amount of daily conflict is necessary in life?

If it is, I try to avoid that necessity at all costs.

Nah don't throw pasta under the bus when you love Lasagna. Pasta is way more versatile than mashed taters.
