1. What is your most precious family heirloom? (And I don't mean in monetary terms)

Nothing much, really. I've got a few things, like a pair of porcelain figurines.

Found the exact ones!

It's old Danish porcelain. Used to belong to my long dead grand parents on my mother's side. They're standing in my living room window these days.

2. How do you generally react to all those charity ads on TV?

I literally never watch TV.

3. In your opinion, what is the most ridiculous/useless item of clothing ever invented?

This always looked dumb to me. Like you suddenly had to flee from the bathroom stall before you could pull your pants up properly.

4. What would you consider your worst character trait?

If you don't know me, I can seem extremely reserved and unapproachable.
In reality, I'm just somewhat introverted and my resting face kind of says "piss off".

I do have bad character traits, but I'm not sure how aware of them I am.
My avoidance of personal conflict probably harms me more than it helps me.

5. What type of news story most upsets you?

Mass killings and various big political shifts in a more authoritarian direction.
Nationalism is on the rise in Europe... Can't end well if it doesn't turn around again.
All news about climate and pollution tend to be nightmarishly terrible news. We're ****ed.

6. Of those who have passed away, if it were possible, name up to three people related to you whom you would have back alive?

Can't possibly choose.

My step-grandpa's engineering books from the early 1900's.

Depends on the charity. But usually, I think to myself: "How much money are they spending to film this commercial? Money that could have gone towards helping the cause."

Anything that covers up womens' boobs.

I over-think EVERYTHING.

Some my grandmothers jewelry is damaged thanks to me but I still have them.

My life. I work in the nonprofit sector.

She scratches her undereye with her fingernail and it freaks me the **** out every single time. Maybe that’s not a character trait but it’s so bad I’m counting it anyways.

I prefer them old with angry eyebrows and/or mustaches.

I don't have any heirlooms.

Cash, I dunno.

When the World Cup was in South Africa (2010), I sent a load of football shirts to the townships children. Lots of England and Aston Villa kit and a pair of boots. Few hundred pounds there. Saw some pictures on Facebook after of them wearing it all and that was great.

3. How many pairs of shoes do you have

Probably about 10.

4. What would you consider your mother’s worst character trait?

She doesn't have any.

5. Do you enjoy watching TV news more if the news anchors are attractive?

Yes.

I've donated here and there (maybe $20 at most?), but all the charity work I've done has been in the form of physical labor and item donations.. not cash.

Not sure but I've helped friends and family in rough times and I think that counts as a valid answer this question.

Two everyday shoes, one pair of boots, one pair of sh*t shoes that I do dirty things with, one pair that I should really throw out.

Unwillingly hides things and doesn't talk about issues that are obvious.

I stopped watching the news. I always thought the news was biased long before it became popular to do so. I will occasionally watch NJ12 for weather updates though.

My Applause (acoustic guitar, Ovation copycats) was a hand-me-down. That's about it. Might get some antique guns when my grandpa dies.

My grandfather on my mom's side because I mever met him. Related by marriage, but the guy my grandma remarried was a cool former junkie who died of cancer 15 years ago. A second cousin of mine passed away at 4 years old this year. I never met him but he should get a longer run.
