Apparently, one of my friends think that handicapped people don't have as much right to live as "normal" people, because they can't contribute as much to our society.

Like what the f^ck. It scares me.

Jesus! What about all the lazy feckers who CAN work, but choose not to? Are they contributing more to society by sitting drinking beer and playing X-Box? And anyway, there are thousands/millions of people who are handicapped yet lead very fulfilling and productive lives. Has your friend not been watching the Paralympics?

Can I get a "Sieg Heil!"? I'd certainly be worried about that person...

I know, I know. I hope it's just a poorly conceived thought affected by political insecurities and confusion, because he's a nice guy otherwise.

As do I. I swear looking after a kitty right now would put a hell of a lot more joy in my life. But unfortunately I can't afford to look after one.

I feel like my life right now is an uphill battle. Anyone going through something like that?

Everyone has times like that. Here's Ritchie to comfort you; I swear his purr is the most relaxing and lovely sound in the world. Note: if you need to talk, PM me. Sometimes it just helps to vent, or share troubles....

Awww thanks hun, and your cat is adorable! I would give Ritchie a ridiculous amount of cuddles if I were there. I am a cat fiend.
