I haven't slept properly in week or so now. Combination of living with smokers and the heating turning itself on and off as it pleases at all hours (the radiators make loud tapping noises as the heating comes on.)

I am at my wit's end.

Get yourself a box fan, it may take awhile getting used to it running on high speed at first, but it actually works for some people having a hard time sleeping.

Warning though, I can only sleep all night with a smooth runnig fan on high speed. But on the other hand, I cant sleep at all, if I am staying over night somewhere that doesnt have a fan.

Its been exactly 16 years since I went to Russia to adopt my sister, and I still don't get on with her that well.

I'm sorry to hear this Trollheart. May I ask when she passed?

I certainly am aware of it, but I believe my mother is very healthy so hopefully no accidents etc and I can keep her for a while. She really is my rock.
