Having to change your password because instead of giving a spammer reasons for their ban, you mistake that for the login screen...

OMG I totally have done that! I had to edit my reason for banning or deleting a thread! So painful. I've never changed my password since I've been here and it's so easy.

I ran into that problem when I was looking at part time study. I was looking at a course with 20 contact hours thinking I could work around it but the way they structured the time table made it impossible.

I've done it too haha. Glad I'm not alone with these brain freezes.

As for my latest irritant... as much as I love my home country, they could not have more unintuitive online business services if they tried. Trying to find out how to search for a company is like pulling teeth, but when you try and order a Certificate that proves the company is in good standing, you're better off starting an expedition for the Ark of the Covenant.

I actually just got one of those!

Last night... ugh... I had to take some work home with me since one of our salesmen was leaving for the west coast to attend a meeting with a high profile client, and he needed some drawings so they could go over the plans. The Blackhawks were playing as well as I was supposed to meet up with the drummer from the new band. Ok, the stage is set for disaster here.

First a storm came through and knocked out power where we were at, during the Blackhawks game. At this point, I'm saying "Crap! I need to get home to finish this project for the guy going to Cali in the morning." So, we go to head out. The GF is totally drunk. I'm pissed (angry). We get into an argument. I drop my phone in a puddle of water. It's fried. We get close to home, and sure enough... no power. Now, I can't finish the project, I can't call the guy to let him know what happened, and I'm ready to move the **** out, away from this drunken mess of a woman.

So, what do I do? I hop on my bike, and pedal to a friends house down the street. Cars are pretty much useless at this point in the neighborhood since there were live wires and road blocks everywhere. I get to my friends place, tell him and his GF what happened, and they give me the "Aww, you poor thing" treatment, and he hands me a beer as we settle in to watch the Blackhawks game (he still had power). The Hawks win the Stanley Cup, my phone miraculously comes back to life, so I can call the guy leaving for Cali, and let him know what happened, and he says "just email me the drawings in the morning". So I go home, pass out, and now here I am typing this while I should be finishing up the drawings. I'm about 70% done so yeah... it's been a surreal 14 or so hours, and I still haven't been in touch with the drummer.

Life man, it's pretty ****ed sometimes.
