I have a family friend that was supposed to take me in up there but that didn't work out. It's still an idea, I'd really like to get to know a new city but until I can find a place to stay I'm stuck in frisco. It's about 1.5k just to move in to a new place on average in my supposed price range (lmao) in SF so I'm pretty much also stuck living where I have been the past year. People are generally pretty skeptical of people who are trying to relocate and look for a place on craigslist which make it difficult to find a place up there too.

For now, things are okay. I was supposed to have been booted out of here a while ago but I guess my landlord is too lazy to follow through with the actual paper work. We talked the other day and he's basically agreed to leave me be if I keep the drinking at home to a minimum. His main issue is my dog. He still hates that I have her but there's nowhere else for me to go atm and I refuse to give her up.

What the hell is it with Craigslist and people not responding to my inquiries. Some asshat is selling a tenor banjo for $125 and I responded within 40 minutes of the ad being put up, but so far have not heard anything from them. The other week someone was selling two guitar stands for $20 altogether, and they lived just down the street from me and I didn't hear anything. Same goes for any "Musicians Wanted" ad I've responded to.

So what, now that I'm finally back in a big city nobody can be bothered to reply?
