future in laws' cat has gone missing just days before we were supposed to be babysitting him for the weekend.

I love that cat so much. I'm so busted up about the fact that he might not actually come home this time. He's been gone since yesterday morning.

I'm so filled with sadness....

it's been nearly two days and he always comes home.

but not this time.

he's 15 years old. They've looked everywhere.

my better half's father is sitting downstairs in his bedroom crying. (We went to visit them tonight to see if we could find him and his father was inconsolable.)

I just really want him to come home.

I never have either but to be honest I have a tiny bit of resentment toward anyone who lets their animals run loose... it's just asking for trouble. It really is.

My chest is starting to hurt worrying about this and I'm just pretty miserable already (just really, really sick). ugh.
