Me, I do the opposite. Sort of. I bought a pair of binoculars and the guy wanted twenty euro. Decent deal. I said how much to post them to Dublin? Eight Euro says he. So I said that's twenty eight, I'll give you thirty. Sound, says he.

Mind you, when I got them they were ****: lenses all scratched to **** and no use to anyone. Guess that sort of spoils my little story, huh? Not that anyone was listening of course.

You're talking most likely about a place that does thousands of sales a day. They're not going to be hurt by the loss of your business, and they're certainly not going to try to keep it by giving you preferential treatment.
