Awkward geeky teenage... that breaks out of his comfort zone and beats her 7 evil exes and they live happily ever after?

It seems quite predictable, and it seems like another Cera typecast role. It just feels like something I can wait for, rather than going to the cinema. I'm 60/40 over it though.

Do you/did you like the comics? I couldn't GAF about comics, it seems as if the comic book geeks dig the film (or are more excited about the film.) a lot more than non-comic book geeks.

I think you'll be surprised. And he doesnt play the awkward geeky teen, hes in his early 20s, and a bit of a loser. But nothing like in Superbad or anything.

It was hilarious, and the way the film was laid out (like a videogame) was cool. The soundtrack wasnt bad at all, either.

Comics? God no, I fucking hate comics and anime. That type of stuff. But it looks genuinely good is all. Plus, I kind of did like all of his movies that I've seen thus far (Michael Cera that is).

He can still play awkward teens despite being in his 20s, the character can be a different age to him. But either way, awkward teen... awkward early 20s. Same thing really.

I do have low expectations but meh, I guess I'm more likely to be pleasantly surprised.
