This is from a few nights ago but I went on a ride along with Washoe County Sheriff's Department from about 3 pm to 2 am and from 3 pm to 11 pm I wasn't allowed out of the car at any of the calls. It wasn't until the Sheriff's Deputy I was riding with dropped me off with another Sheriff's Deputy that I actually got to get out of the car. A few months ago I did a ride along with the city police and they let me out at every scene, including one that was a welfare check on an old guy who hadn't been seen for a few days and apartment reeked (he was dead). I signed a waiver, if I get shanked or shot by some meth head tweaker the department is safe from prosecution and I went on the ride along to see some action, not to sit in the car playing Angry Birds on my iPhone.

City Police > Sheriff's Department

Me and some friends were going to go to Disneyland and LA over the weekend, but I have a choir concert at school on the day they plan to leave.

I'm so bummed. I couldn't go last year either because I was at Florida.

Also, it's really cold.

I'm starting to hate the snow over here now, well i wouldn't call it snow anymore it's frozen over into ice. Trying to get anywhere around town is a bitch, you're in constant danger of slipping, falling over and looking like an idiot. Amazingly i didn't fall over today.

Also my college made the stupid decision of going ahead with the Christmas exams this week, despite the fact that the roads are extremely dangerous for people to drive and also a lot of people who live away from the college or went home for the weekend can't get buses here because they're all being cancelled. It doesn't exactly effect me but it does effect some of my friends. Genius.

And I'm worried about my ex girlfriend.
She's going through a rough time and there's not much I can do as she lives about 125 miles from here. I'd love to pamper her a bit.
Well I sent her some sinterklaas (a dutch celebration that actually caused you to have a Santa Clause. Sinterklaas --> Santaclause, see?) gifts. She doesn't expect that. Hope it cheers her up a bit.

(might sound strange that I'm so concerned about my ex girlfriend, but we've been together for six years and we have been friends for four years before that. We love eachother, even though we don't fit together perfectly)

I hate the snow, its ****ing ****e. Can't do **** all and for everyday I'm off because of it, I don't get paid, therefore I can't ****ing afford xmas anymore. I might cry.
