that's kind of the point of disaster movies, they aren't meant to be oscar winning performance films

I also love Michael Bay's car chase sequences they are really good imo.

The point of disaster movies are they're supposed to be shite?

Michael Bay makes vomit inducing rubbish for idiots as far as I'm concerned.

They achieve what they set out to do.
The film is complete trash.
Yet a film like 2012 can gross nearly $800,000,000.

I do, I really do.
But I don't mind too much, because films like 'Vampires Suck' and 'Date Movie' spent $20million and then the film receives 100% hate from the critics and fails to gross anywhere near the figure they pumped into it. At least I'm pretty sure they made a massive loss, I'll have to check. If they actually made a profit then I may lose the will to live.
Just checked - Jesus Christ.
I hate people. But still, people who actually appreciate Michael Bay's work (I say work, I mean explosions and tits.) and people who like these horrible spoof movies are cut from the same cloth.
