I like how Shannity and others are remarking on Tebow's throwing for 316 yards and saying God did it, because there's a verse in the bible whose chapter and verse is 3:16...

I hope he throws for 666 yards eventually.

Going to derail the conversation from Tebow so I can bitch about school for a second:

I started the new term at school on January 3rd, and already the first 4 lectures for one of my courses have been cancelled. I did get a course outline, though - and the schedule of topics is right on the back page. We were supposed to start on January 5th (the classes are Mondays and Thursdays and each one is 1 hour long), but now we'll be 4 lectures behind. As well, there are 3 essays due in this course, and the first one is due in class on January 30th. I (presumably) won't have this class again until January 19th - just over a week before the first essay is due. So I will only have a week to get this essay done, and it's a research paper that needs to be 8-10 pages in length, with at least 8 academic sources. I'm hoping that we get some kind of extension or that the professor forfeits this first essay entirely (and just make the other assignments and the exam worth a little more of the final grade), because I can't write a decent paper for a class without sufficient lecture material and expect to get a good grade on it. I don't even know what textbook(s) I have to get for this course yet either!!

I'm going to try and see what's up with this professor (who I've never had before), with the department that offers the course. Or the student affairs office. I can't contact the professor or any of his student TA's because he didn't put any emails or phone numbers on the course outline.
