I was thinking $2500, but you're in Cali, so costs are higher than Chicago, as far as I know. Cost me $1200 to get 9 stitches in my forehead, and 5 in my chin a while back.

Something tells me that was an idiot tax.

Just had to listen to my sociology teacher lecture the class on how much less talented musicians are now in comparison to 30 years ago, I've never had to bite my tongue so hard in a class.

Not sure what level of schooling you're in, but most professors I've had appreciate it when I tell them they're ignorant twats (I tend to use slightly more fancy language to tell them that though).

You would think a sociology teacher would be smarter than that. i don't understand why some ppl can't think outside the time bubble of their generation. They are so out of touch they nest in their familiarity dismissing everything that is new.

I understand it's unavoidable to prefer a certain era in music but you also gotta learn to adapt to the current times.

A treatise on the social changes within music and how talent is found in new techniques would probably be the next assignment I hand in to your prof. Something like that.

I'm always broke because I give my mother most of my paycheck so that she doesn't lose her house.
