Men and women are equally bad drivers IMO. Men are more likely to drive fast whereas women are more likely to pay more attention to their cell phones or checking their makeup in the mirror rather than keeping their eyes on the road. In my state however, insurance is higher for younger males than it is for females of the same age and gawd forbid if a young guy has a red sportscar 'cause that just has "target" written all over it.

Women get cheaper car insurance as they crash less...

But who am I to judge?

I'll give you that. Most women are **** drivers to be honest, I was driving a 60mph straight FLAT road, and a woman in a mazda SPORT was doing like 25mph along it, her ass got overtook. Seriously though, 25 in a 60? What a twat.

Oh, God. The bad driving Asians stereotype. I can handle racial humor to far extents, but some reason, this one drives me up the fucking wall. I get shit on all the time by friends and well, by people I don't even know because I'm considered the double whammy of bad driving - Asian and female. That makes me want to take a shit.

Never heard of that stereotype before. So you'd only have to deal with one here

Statistically, women get in less accidents than men. I don't know if this is because, on average, men typically do a lot more driving and for longer periods of time... but all I know is that every time I pass a car going ridiculously slow on the highway and swerving all over, going off the road, or nearly hitting someone; it's a woman driving and she's on a cell phone, about 95 percent of the time.
To me, bad driving isn't just limited to whether you get in a car accident or not. Driving habits are a part of driving and just because bad driving habits haven't contributed to a violation or accident yet, doesn't mean you're a great driver. It just means you haven't had the chance to contribute to the statistics yet.

With that in mind, people constantly on their cell phone or doing makeup or other distracting things behind the wheel, regardless of gender, are bad drivers. I just usually see more women doing those things than men.

It's surprising that the statistics don't reflect that. Again, I wonder if it has something to do with the difference in amount of driving per gender.

The last time I heard anything about statistics in Norway, I heard women had a lot more accidents involved with driving in reverse, parking and so on. Men, particularly young men, are more often involved in high speed accidents.

Stuff like this makes me chuckle :

And there are lots of videos on youtube with women trying to park and failing, hehe. I'd post one, but generally they last a while so I'm not sure how appropriate they are as forum humour.
