as far as I know I don't...I lived in the city...no one has ever said "I can tell you're from TX" so yeah...to my understanding, I don't have one

I'd let you listen to me talk to see, but I don't have skype, and it'd be wierd to get a phone# over a forum...:/

I can relate. Even though my Boston accent is almost completely gone, it usually makes it's presence known when I say "palm" or "Miller Lite".

I have a very midwest sounding accent.

Also, assuming we all have microphones we should determine the best sentences to showcase accents and record them just for comparison.

Well apparently Michigan has its own sort of accent?

I help out a summer camp and every time I go I'm told I have an accent....or maybe it's just me, I did grow up around a lot of different ethnicities and languages within my family.

Definitely. Though in my experience people from the UP sound a lot like people from Wisconsin.

Well I think Youpers(upper peninsula-living folks) have accents too but I never imagined I'd hear someone inform me I have an accent since I was born and raised in southeastern Michigan. Maybe its a strange mix between Detroit-talk and Canada?
