Making one of my favorite meals. Boneless skinless chicken breasts heavily seasoned and then flash seared in a hot oiled skillet to put a crust on them and then put them at the bottom of a crock pot. Cover with the dry contents of a box of Stove Top Stuffing. Pour a jar of chicken gravy into the fry pan along with a couple of tablespoons of milk. Mix well while de-glazing the pan. Pour over top of the stuffing and chicken. Top with whatever well seasoned sides you want - today I'm using fresh carrots and fingerling potatoes.

Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours. Everything will be so tender when it's done that no knives are needed.

I got black out drunk last night and got woken up by my mom screaming at me that I'd taken a dump in the crock pot. I didn't remember this but it was probably true. Still I tried to blame it on the cat but she said that was a crock of shit.

Says a lot that this is believable coming from you.

Up until the punchline I was thinking the same thing.

Top layer is the potatoes seasoned with S&P and a ton of dill - potatoes love dill. Next layer is the carrots seasoned with all sorts of ****. S&P, onion and garlic powder, celery seed, paprika, and a hint of nutmeg. Hiding underneath is the chix and stuffing.

The slow cook time and gravy will marry everything together. Freaking love crock pots.
