That term 'white knighting' is so pathetic. Just because it's the internet it doesn't mean we have to put up with rape jokes. And tbh it didn't seem like a joke to me. I'd like to see how you guys feel if your relative or friend got raped. It might not be so 'funny' then.

I'm agreeing with people who initially posted regarding that story a few pages back but I don't see the problem with rape jokes. Every joke decent joke is at the expense of somebody, somewhere.

I'd like to see how you guys feel if your relative or friend got raped. It might not be so 'funny' then.

Why would my emotion make the joke any more or less funny? I laugh at offensive jokes that apply to me all the time btw.

The term 'white knighting' has been used on this forum before and I agree, it's incredibly stupid and it also doesn't even apply here.

To be a 'white knight' there usually has to be the honour of a woman to defend. Now, unless either of the members Janszoon is referring to have posted very misleading pictures of themselves on this forum, i'd say this has more to do with Janszoon being of the opinion that rape isnt funny? This has nothing to do with this being the internet and this isnt a 'rape JOKE'. The internet isnt a place where rape becomes funny, it just means that if you make a joke about it you are safe enough behind your keyboard that you can be sure there wont be any repercussions.

If you were actually step back a moment and read the flow of this conversation, you might just see that, while I'm assuming that you obviously believe your intentions were miscontrued, you really havent given anyone a reason to think that theres anything more to this than you think rape is funny but **** it, this is the internet, so you can do whatever you want.
