I have people that do it, they feel the need to tell me they're on the bus and they're late for college.. Like I give a shit. My phone has unlimited texts and 800 minutes and that's all I need.

Isn't that like drinking beer that's twice as pointless?
Actually, after your second paragraph I'm surprised that you don't see the the point of light beer. It has roughly the same percentage of alcohol as a lot of other beer (for example Bud Light is 4.2% alcohol while Guinness Daught is 4.0%) but by virtue of its being "light", it's much easier to drink a lot of it than it would be to drink a lot of a heavier beer. Also, in my personal opinion it tastes better but I know most people probably disagree with me on that.

Otherwise, though, I totally hear what you're saying about beer. I have it sometimes but my preferred beverage is bourbon.

Saying that though, I did once use my friends phone to tell the Facebook world that I saw Rik Waller running away from a group of kids throwing pebbles at him. I think that sometimes there may be exceptional circumstances... Otherwise, yes, generally overrated as a whole.

That kind of news just can't wait until you get home, so I will permit that.

Ahh that'll be the source of my confusion then.

After reading up on it it would appear that Lite beers in the US means low calorie whereas in most parts of the world it means low alcohol (Under 3.5).

Forget I said anything

That's interesting. And, yeah, that kind of light beer sounds pretty pointless to me too. Sort of like non-alcoholic beer, something I've never understood the point of either. Tastes worse than regular beer, won't get you drunk. Nice combination there.

Speaking for the lasses that get drunk on beer, and beer alone, I'd like to assure you: we don't wear them high heels to the pub.

The high heels drinkers, come with martinis, margueritas, tequila and cosmopolitans.

Non-alcoholic beer, I've never understood the use of that. Unless it's for alcoholics who are trying to go cold turkey it seems pretty useless.

The girls ive known who drank pints werent the high heel types either. They were feminine enough to be attractive but not "too" girly. Theres nothing wrong with being "too" girly, thats just a personal preference but give me attractive and a beer drinker i can have a laugh and get wasted with like i would my mates over alot of the girls i see in the pub anyday.
