I done did that back in the day, but I've had so many different teams over the years that these days I've just refined it to as glorious a team as I can get.

Color me female, but I pick the coolest looking pokemon I can find/evolve while maintaining a balanced team. And I will admit poison and ghost are my favorite types, nothin like slowly sapping life away.

wow nice more pokemon talk. I used to do the whole balanced team thing but now i basically just use my favorites, which basically just ends up being mostly fire haha. i beat X using my all fire team of Ninetales, Rapidash, Arcanine, Houndoom, Pyroar, and Delphox

Poison is probably my second fav tho i do like using toxic, confuse, paralyze, etc to just fuck shit up

I really enjoyed Emerald personally. Haven't played the revamps (fire-red leaf-green) but they're based off first gen games I believe so those should be good too.

I gotta say hands down that Gold and Silver are my favorite games of the series. Sweet pokemon, night and day ****, berry trees.... loved 'em.
